Beehive heatmap

A while ago the developer of PlaceSnap appeared on the Gheat mailing list. It appears that they didn't end up going with Gheat, but that's ok because their"beehive" solution to visualizing lots of map data is pretty awesome.

They just launched their iPhone app, which is currently free. It's easy to use and addresses a need(sharing iPhone photos) thatI've felt at least a twinge of. I'll probably try it out for a while.
