Potluck and perilous plunger

Last night Leah hosted her first potluck. It was a rousing success! We had 48 people, about half kids. The Venn diagram was complicated, but I think everyone had a good time. It rained hard before and after but not during. And every kid got a whack at the piñata before Jack finished it off.

The potluck was at War Memorial Park in Sewickley, which has an awesome new playground. As awesome as it is, however, it does not have one of these:
