R for my birthday

My wife and I share a birthday, which we just celebrated (October 31). In addition to 2 childless nights in
a rustic cabin in Cook Forest (thanks Nonni!), we received our very own copy of
The C Programming Language by Kernighan and Ritchie. I say "we" because my father took me at face value when I suggested that it might be an appropriate gift for my wife. :)

Now I'm one step closer to graduating from "scripter" to "programmer!"
Update: I've completed
through Excercise 1-12. My favorite was
1-9, where I used a nested while loop, and caused my first segfault.
